The Early Music Days Festival in Vác welcomes audiences with an interest in early music, as well as participants in its masterclasses. Alongside Baroque music, the festival programme also explores the musical worlds of Classicism and early Romanticism, while the masterclasses offer participants the opportunity to study with distinguished figures from the Hungarian and international early music scene.

The musical thinking and performance practices of past centuries differed in many respects from the approaches we are accustomed to today. The festival therefore invites audiences on a unique journey of discovery, offering an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of historical performance traditions, to encounter familiar works from new perspectives, and to uncover lesser-known treasures of music history.

The masterclasses, accompanied each year by festival concerts featuring internationally renowned artists, provide an excellent opportunity for further professional development for both Hungarian and international professional musicians, as well as students from music universities across the country.
