On the Night of the Organs, three exceptional voices and a majestic instrument await you at the Reformed Small Church of Debrecen. In operas, a single tenor often takes on the leading role, but at this concert, three tenor opera singers will showcase their talent, their voices united by the organ, which - rightly known as the queen of instruments - will also perform solo and even “dance” together with the tenors.

The program features great classical masterpieces, new works, and older compositions that, due to their relative obscurity, feel like new discoveries. Among the pieces performed are Franck’s famous Panis angelicus, Kodály’s intimate evening song, the well-known Christmas carol Adeste fideles, and the emotionally sweeping aria Ingemisco from Verdi’s Requiem. The audience will also hear some lesser-known songs by Schumann, as well as a work by the long-forgotten Viennese Baroque master Francesco Bartolomeo Conti. The performers are young artists who have already captured the attention of both the professional community and audiences alike, achieving notable success - and they will undoubtedly bring their best to this concert as well.

This evening belongs to flowing melodies, uplifting atmosphere, and a truly special musical experience. A concert that is at once elegant, intimate, and dignified - we warmly welcome you!
