We would like to thank all applicants for their participation, and warmly congratulate the contestants selected for the live rounds!

This year’s Franz Liszt International Piano Competition, to be held in Pécs at the Kodály Centre, received significantly more applications than in previous editions, and the field proved to be of an exceptionally high standard. In light of this, the jury and the organiser have decided to select 15 contestants for the live rounds, more than originally announced.
