Johanna Malangré is Assistant Conductor with the Bergische Symphoniker. She has been selected for the prestigious Conducting Fellowship at Lucerne Festival Academy 2017 and is a winner of the 2015 Richard-Wagner-Scholarship.
She has worked with many orchestras such as Bern Symphonieorchester, Musikcollegium Winterthur, Nürnberger Symphoniker, Philharmonie Bad Reichenhall, Bergische Symphoniker, Philharmonie Südwestfalen, Kurpfälzisches Kammerorchester Mannheim, Carlsbad
Symphony Orchestra, Hradec Symphony Orchestra, Ruse Philharmonic Orchestra and others.
Having studied in Köln, Nürnberg and Mozarteum Salzburg she holds a degree in Conducting, Choral Conducting and Organ and is currently a student in the renowned class of Prof. Johannes Schlaefli at Zürich Hochschule der Künste. Masterclasses with Bernard Haitink, Gianluigi Gelmetti and Prof. Nicolas Pasquet complete her education.
