Frans Helmerson
Head of jury
Frans Helmerson (born 1945) is a Swedish cellist, conductor, and pedagogue, and one of the most prominent figures in the international classical music scene. He began playing the cello at the age of eight and later studied with Guido Vecchi in Gothenburg, Giuseppe Selmi in Rome, and William Pleeth in London. His artistic development was deeply influenced by the mentorship and support of Mstislav Rostropovich.
Anne Gastinel
A precocious talent, Anne Gastinel entered the CNSMD in Lyon at the age of 11. Yo-Yo Ma, János Starker and Paul Tortelier, with whom she went on to perfect her skills and who had a profound impact on her personal and musical development, already recognised in her the maturity of an exceptional artist. She won numerous prizes in major international competitions (Scheveningen, Prague, Rostropovitch) and began to perform throughout Europe, finally coming to the attention of the general public at the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest. In 1997, she was chosen by Marta Casals Istomin to play the legendary Matteo Goffriller by Pablo Casals for a year. In 2006, Anne Gastinel received the Victoire de la Musique award in the category "Soloist of the Year" (after having won the "Young Talent" and "Best Recording" awards).

András Keller is a violinist, conductor, and teacher, and a key figure in Hungarian musical life. He began his career as a soloist, but gained international recognition primarily as the founder of the Keller Quartet, which has become one of the most highly acclaimed string quartets in the world. The quartet’s repertoire extends beyond classical works to include contemporary music, and they have released numerous award-winning recordings.
