Filharmonia Hungary organises a number of events to promote the "queen of instruments", the organ. One of the highlights is the Night of the Organ programs, which starts every year with the opening event of the OrganPoint series, including almost 100 concerts throughout the country.
This year we have launched a competition for composers of organ music. The aim of the call was to obtain a contemporary piece for solo organ worthy of the Nights of the Organ program that will performed at all the events of the series.
