Have you ever seen an organ with small pipes positioned horizontally, like trombones or trumpets? At the concert of Attila Vadász and György Gyivicsán, this will be more than just an illusion — the organ will be accompanied by an actual trombone.

But there’s more to this program’s uniqueness. Most organ concerts feature works by Bach and later composers. However, this performance takes us further back, to the border between the Renaissance and Baroque periods, when organ music still bore characteristics from before Bach’s influence, and the organ was more closely related to choirs and wind instruments than to keyboards.
