We offer a 10% discount for students and pensioners. Filharmonia Hungary season ticket holders can purchase tickets with a 20% discount by showing their season tickets! Individual discounts cannot be combined!
Tickets and season tickets can be purchased at the Budapest office of the Filharmonia Hungary (1143, Budapest, Szobránc u. 6-8.), at the Liszt Academy and online at www.jegymester.hu.

Among Bach's more than 200 cantatas, Christmas and Advent pieces abound. These works were not appreciated by their contemporaries. Still, we now know that with their careful compositions, sensitive wording,varied orchestration, and profound message, Bach's compositions excelled over other Protestant cantatas of the time. If we had asked Bach himself, he would probably recommend the works of some of his colleagues, whom he had played in Leipzig whenhe was short of time for composing. At Bach's imaginary suggestion, Stölzel will be the other composer at this evening's concert so that we can discover new compositions by Bach and larn more about the Advent music he knew and liked to perform.
