Filharmonia Hungary’s first season in Balatonfüred concludes with a concert full of beautiful and virtuosic violin melodies, performed by the vibrant Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra.

Joining the orchestra on this special evening is Sergey Dogadin, the acclaimed Russian violinist now based in Vienna. In his thirties, Dogadin has already graced the world’s most prestigious concert halls, and for this occasion, he brings three major solo pieces to the stage. Mozart’s Violin Concerto in G major is one of the timeless gems of the violin concerto repertoire. Pēteris Vasks, a contemporary Latvian composer, was inspired by a vision when writing Lonely Angel: "The angel hovers above the world with tearful eyes, observing the turmoil of the Earth, and yet, with a barely perceptible, loving touch of its wing, brings comfort and healing. This piece is an answer to pain.” The program continues with Anton Arensky’s Chamber Symphony, a passionate and emotional work that reflects the hallmarks of late Russian Romanticism. The evening concludes with a brilliant and dramatic showpiece – Camille Saint-Saëns’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, composed for the legendary violinist Pablo de Sarasate.

Join us for this colorful, emotional, and virtuosic concert – a night where you’ll not only enjoy stunning performances, but also discover musical treasures both old and new.
