Bach, Scarlatti and Couperin Suites, Fugues, Sonatas, Concertos… virtuosity, poetry and polyphony. Other repertoire is also welcome.

”The Inner Gesture and the Music” The course aims to guide participants in solving technical and/or musical problems by teaching a self-learning technique that can be used at all levels for string instruments. Reflection on the nature of musical gesture, applicable for all repertoires and instruments, will play a central part in this course. For the viola da gamba, the 'secret' teaching alphabet of Marin Marais and the new sources related to him, rediscovered and studied by the Mozarteum research team, will play a significant part in the teaching of the course. The repertoire remains free and at the student's choice. Consort practice is also welcome, deepening the musical and interpretative techniques and problems.
