"I was never asked what I wanted, what I would love, I was given the instrument and was told that I was going to be a violinist. Seven students were chosen, the most talented ones, and I was one of them. That was back in the Soviet Union. I wanted to play the piano."
But instead he was chosen to play the violin, and Vadim Gluzman, has become one of the most popular and internationally acclaimed violinists of our time who will dazzle his audience in Miskolc on 26 October.
