At the March performance of the Filharmonia's Kodály Season, the Kecskemét Symphony Orchestra will offer an exceptional musical treat with Kinga Kriszta (soprano) as soloist and Balázs Kocsár conducting.
Peer Gynt was initially a dramatic poem by Henrik Ibsen, which was at once fairytale-like, socially critical, romantic, and modern. Ibsen asked Edvard Grieg to compose incidental music for the work. In this evening's concert, other lesser-known compositions will join the famous pieces.
